Flyweight, Jamey-Lyn Horth Wessels (5-0)
Wessels has been known for some time as the best Canadian woman prospect around. Just in her last two fights, she won the BFL and LFA flyweight titles. Her biggest issue though is a lack of activity and that’s why she doesn’t get her rightful attention.
Wessels’ victories include wins over Jade Masson-Wong, Mayra Cantuaria, Corinne Laframboise, and UFC’s Lupita Godinez twice as an amateur. There isn’t a lot of footage out there on her, but it’s the pressure, wrestling, and solid work rate that she brings to the cage that stands out. Wessels is 32-years old so her time is now.
