The UFC was back at the Apex on Saturday, for the second straight Fight Night event that didn’t exactly scream “depth.” That would be UFC Vegas 52, a card that had been hit hard by opponent swaps and cancelled bouts.

Worse still, in the days leading up to the event, a very promising flyweight fight between Manel Kape and Su Mudaerji had been lost. Leaving a handful of veteran names — among them, headliner Jessica Andrade, paired up with surging Amanda Lemos, and “The Carpenter” Clay Guida — to hold down the fort and draw fan interest.

With heavy competition on Saturday from Bellator 279 and boxing’s Fury vs. Whyte, whether the show would be successful remained to be seem. But there were some diamonds in the rough, like an early favorite for Fight of the Night in Lando Vannata vs. Charles Jourdain.

Weigh-ins for the event get underway on Friday in Las Vegas; full results can be found below.

No misses at the scale on Friday, as the full card successfully made weight.
