London – The hometown boy may have to wait a while longer to fight at home as UFC bantamweight Nathaniel Wood will need another late replacement in order to fight this Saturday at UFC London.

Late replacement opponent Vince Morales was forced to withdraw from their bout due to illness. Al Zullino reported it first.

Morales posted on Instagram confirming his withdrawal and giving some details as to what caused it.

Meanwhile Wood posted the news on his Instagram and made it seem as though he was off the card even though, officially, the promotion is searching for another late-notice opponent for him.

With just hours before weigh-ins chances seem thin that a proper opponent will be found.

Update: With no opponet secured in time for Saturday’s UFC London card, Nathaniel Wood is unfortunately off the event. The card moves forward with a total of 12 fights.
