Featherweight action is the latest addition to September’s UFC Paris card.

In a new addition to the event, England’s Nathaniel Wood (23-6) will face Mairon Santos (17-1) at the Accor Arena in Paris, France on September 5, 2026.

Heavy.com was first to report the booking, which was confirmed by Brazil’s Santos and his team, The Fighting Nerds.

“Mairon Santos will be the Nerd in Paris. He’s ready to hunt for the knockout and break into the UFC rankings! Let’s go for this big mission,” the fight camp wrote on social media.

Wood, formerly known as “The Prospect,” now holds the nickname “The Last Kingsman.” He’s won his last four fights, dating back to 2024, including victories over ex-Oktagon champ Losene Keita and former PFL standout Daniel Pineda. During that time, Wood has found success in the grappling realm as well.

Mairon Santos is 4-0 in the UFC, and was the featherweight winner of The Ultimate Fighter 32. He most recently knocked out Muhammad Naimov at UFC 323 last year, but came in heavy for the bout at 148lbs.
