Bellator 273: Bader vs. Moldavsky Weigh-In Results

The stakes were high in the main event of Bellator 273.

Having lost his light heavyweight title to Vadim Nemkov, former double champ Ryan Bader was set to defend his heavyweight championship against Nemkov’s teammate, Valentin Moldavsky.

During Bader’s recent absence from heavyweight, while competing in the light heavyweight grand prix, Moldavsky had claimed an interim title against Tim Johnson. Should he win at Bellator 273 on Saturday, it would mark a rare occasion: a single fighter losing two belts to members of the same team. If Bader were to win, it might just set up a rematch with Moldavsky’s mentor, Fedor Emelianenko.

In the co-main event, Benson Henderson was badly in need of a win against a very tough Islam Mamedov.

Weigh-ins for Bellator 273, which takes place in Phoenix, AZ, go down Friday. Check below for full results.
