Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to action on Friday, with LFA 121 marking the first event of 2022 for the promotion.
Ahead of the card, things didn’t exactly go off without a hitch. Fighters in both the main and co-main event missed weight on Thursday, though luckily, both fights held together and were able to move forward.
In what should have been a welterweight main event, Chris Brown came in heavy, necessitating a catchweight against Steve Jones. Brown was fined a percentage of his fight purse. Likewise, Elijah Johns was over for his featherweight fight against Brandon Phillips, and was also fined.
In addition to Brown vs. Jones and Johns vs. Phillips, the LFA 121 card also featured undefeated bantamweights Alden Coria and Michael Cyr facing off on the main card.
LFA 121, taking place at the The Factory in Deep Ellum, Dallas, Texas, airs exclusively on UFC Fight Pass. The broadcast gets underway at 9PM ET. Full results from the event can be found below.
