Matt Sayles is a veteran of the 2018 season of the Contender Series. In the fight prior to his fight on the Contender Series, Sayles fought in the CFFC promotion at 155lbs.

However, Matt has fought at as low as 135lbs, even though it was way back in 2013.

Matt Sayles’ last fight was at the tail end of 2019, when he fought Bryce Mitchell. Sayles weighed in heavy for the bout, coming in a 148.5lbs. Matt would go on to lose the bout the following day via a 1st round submission.

Matt Sayles is 27 years old and stands at 5’7″ tall, with a 67.5″ reach. Sayles isn’t the largest fighter on paper but with his metabolism slowing down and after more than two years away from the sport it was a very safe choice for him to move up in weight.

Matt will be a fighter to watch on the scales and in the octagon as he makes his UFC debut in the 155lb division.
