Jordan “Bomaye” Williams (9-5, 1 NC MMA, 0-2 UFC)

Welterweight (170lbs): 0-1 (UFC), 3-2 (MMA)

Catchweight (180lbs): 1-0 (MMA)

Middleweight (185lbs): 0-1 (UFC), 4-2, 1 NC (MMA)

Jordan Williams is a 3x Contender Series Alum that has Type 1 diabetes. At 6’1″ with a 76.5″ reach, having diabetes really makes it challenging for Jordan to find his proper weight class.

Jordan has competed for the majority of his pro MMA bouts in the middleweight division, because it is very dangerous for him to cut down to 170lbs (at least more dangerous than it is for the average fighter)

Because of this, at 185lbs Jordan’s opponents were often much larger than he was. Williams took his first UFC fight at 170lbs in his most recent fight and was finished by Mickey Gall. For UFC 268 he will again be competing at 170lbs, so he will be a fighter to watch on the scale and especially during his fight on November 6.
