Prediction

Neither of these women being in the UFC really excites me. Both do have a good record, but their performances don’t really raise the bar.

Silva is a bantamweight moving down fighting a small 125’er in Yan. On the feet, neither does anything special. I do like how Yan is active with her legs. On the outside, she has a lot of deficiencies that even Silva can exploit. Both are more comfortable on the mat. Yan may have better wrestling but Silva has far better jiu-jitsu. Also in the grappling, the size of Silva will be a problem for Yan. I’m taking Silva and I’m slightly confident. This isn’t a fight I’d consider betting on but I do think Silva has a big advantage. Even taking the ITD prop is good value.
