Prediction
Borshchev is a fighter that I really enjoy sitting down and watching. Everything he does from his kickboxing to his hands to his set-ups is perfectly done. His only form of weakness is his takedown defense. Even then, he does do everything right to get back to his feet, fighting the wrists, digging underhooks, getting his hips to the side, and putting his feet on the hips. Although Borshchev gets taken down often he always gets back up.
Duncan brings pressure and power, however, which Borshchev hasn’t dealt with. That said, Duncan gets hit way too much to have success against Borshchev. Duncan is going to push forward for the takedown but I expect Borshchev to counter Duncan on his way in. Borshchev usually struggles more when he’s over-aggressive and gets level changed on. I don’t think Ducan is the type of wrestler to continue taking Slava down and more importantly keep Slava down. I like Duncan but I believe Borshchev is a difficult match-up for him. I’d personally stay away from betting on this one but a straight bet on Borshchev may be the best value you get.
