Jared “Flash” Gordon (17-4 MMA, 5-3 UFC)

Featherweight (145lbs.): 2-0 (UFC), Missed weight 1x

Catchweight (150lbs.): 1-0 (UFC)

Lightweight (155lbs.): 2-3 (UFC)

Jared Gordon is a former Cage Fury FC (CFFC) Featherweight Champion before coming to the UFC. Gordon actually missed weight in his first UFC bout back in 2017, while in the featherweight division.

At 5’9″ tall and holding a 68″ reach Gordon is what many would classify as a ‘tweener’ fighter as he has grown a little too large to make the 145lbs division easily. But Gordon is also a tad bit undersized for the UFC’s ultra stacked lightweight division. Now obviously Gordon is not severely undersized for 155lbs but undoubtedly he will be giving up reach or size to the vast majority of his opponents. As he will with his upcoming opponent Joe Solecki who is also 5’9″ tall but has a 70.5″ reach.

And because of this, Gordon will definitely be a fighter for fans to watch come fight time for UFC Vegas 38.
