The UFC 262 roster can thank Tony Ferguson for bigger post-fight bonuses this Saturday.

During this week’s pre-fight press conference, “El Cucuy” reminded UFC President Dana White of their last trip to Texas, and something former heavyweight Travis Browne had said. “‘You know, everything is bigger in Texas, Dana, right?’ You remember that? He said, ‘How about a bigger bonus?’” Ferguson reminisced. “So, I’m going to ask you, Dana. Since we are here, like last time, can we have a bigger bonus this time?”

Well, White has acquiesced to that request. Per a report by Brazilian outlet Combate, UFC 262 will feature $75,000 post-fight bonuses (Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night).

The bigger bonuses will be a one-night only affair, mind you. Following the Houston, Texas based card, post-fight awards will return to their usual $50,000 value.

UFC 262 takes place Saturday, May 15 in at the Toyota Center in Houston. The card is a headlined by Michael Chandler taking on Charlies Oliveira for the vacant lightweight title. Ferguson, meanwhile, features in the co-main event, against Beneil Dariush. The full card breaks down as follows:
