Cody Stamann is a 5’6″ tall, 31 year old fighter that switches between the bantamweight and featherweight weight classes. Stamann only has a 64.5″ reach but with his muscular build, he carries a lot of weight.
It’s important to note that Stamann has yet to miss weight thus far in his UFC career. It’s also important to note that Stamann’s last two fights were against former bantamweights that also moved up to the featherweight division (Brian Kelleher and Jimmie Rivera).
For UFC Vegas 25, Stamann will be moving back down to the weight class that his frame has the best chance of doing well in – which would be at 135lbs. So Stamann will be a fighter to watch on the scale and but don’t be surprised if you see him at featherweight in the future.
