Abdul “Judo Thunder” Razak Alhassan (10-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC)

Welterweight (170lbs): 4-3 (UFC), Missed weight 2x

Middleweight (185lbs.): 0-0 (UFC)

Abdul Razak Alhassan is predominately known for his insane physique and his equally insane KO power. But lately, the 35 year old has struggled with making weight in the UFC’s 170lbs. division. Alhassan stands at 5’10” and has a 73″ reach along with a very large and muscular frame.

Abdul Razak Alhassan missed weight ahead of his bout against Mounir Lazzez. It was his first fight back after about a two year hiatus thanks to unwarranted legal troubles outside of the cage. Abdul weighted in at 174lbs for the bout and lost a unanimous decision, though he did win Fight of the Night honors for his efforts.

Alhassan also missed weight for his most recent fight against Khaos Williams back in November of last year. Abdul came in at 172.5lbs and made it all of 30 seconds into the bout before being knocked out.

Now, for UFC Vegas 24, Abdul will be making the 15lb jump to the middleweight weight class where he has not fought at since 2016.
