Jamie Mullarkey is a long lightweight that comes to the UFC from the Superfight MMA organization where he was lightweight champion. Mullarkey has faced nothing but solid competition for the entity of his career, and though he has most of his finishes via KO/TKO he also has a very good rear naked choke.

In Jamie’s last four fights before entering the UFC he secured four finishes, one in the third, two in the second and one in the very first round. Securing and Defending the SFMMA lightweight championship in the process. Mullarkey has nice kicks, long punches and knows how to position himself while dealing damage to a grounded opponent in order to keep them there.

However, Mullarkey has had a rocky start in the UFC thus far, losing his first two fights against Brad Riddell and then Fares Ziam via unanimous decision However, Mullarkey’s fight with Riddell earned Fight of the Night honors. Jamie will look to secure his first win and possibly a finish at UFC 260 on March 27th.
