One of the most exciting bantamweight prospects in MMA will be making his UFC debut as Jesse Strader will take on Montel Jackson next Saturday at UFC Vegas 22.

One of the bantamweight division’s most exciting prospects will be making his UFC debut as Lancaster, CA’s Jesse Strader will be taking on Montel Jackson at UFC Vegas 22 on March 20.

Jesse Strader (5-1) enters the bout after putting up a respectable 3-1 record in Combate Americas.  In his last bout, he scored a first round knockout over Isiah Batin-Gonzalez and was featured on Top Ten on Sportscenter.  Fighting out of the SoCal Fight Factory, Strader now steps into his first UFC bout with a little more than a week’s notice.  Notably, Strader is also working with former pop star Aaron Carter to help him prepare for a celebrity boxing bout with former NBA player Lamar Odom.

Montel Jackson (9-2) will be looking to get back in the win-column when he returns to action on Saturday night.  A part of the UFC since 2018 after an appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series, Jackson has put together a 3-2 record in the UFC with wins over Brian Kelleher, Andre Soukhamthath, and Felipe Colares.  Jackson most recently fought against Brett Johns last July.

UFC Vegas 21 is set to be headlined by a middleweight bout between surging contenders Derek Brunson and Kevin Holland.  The event will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
