Former KSW double champ Mateusz Gamrot, who held both featherweight and lightweight gold in the Polish promotion, will make his second trip to the UFC octagon this April.
Gamrot (17-1, 1NC) is expected to face Scott Holtzman (14-4) in a lightweight bout at a UFC event on April 10. The fight will have both men looking to get back in the win column.
Kuba Voranek was first to report the news. Gamrot subsequently confirmed the booking on social media.
After conquering two divisions in KSW, Mateusz Gamrot made his highly anticipated debut under the UFC banner last year. The Polish star came up just short in a Fight of the Night effort against Guram Kutateladze, losing a split decision.
Holtzman is coming off a loss of his own, to Beneil Dariush at UFC Vegas 6 last August. That snapped a two-fight win streak for “Hot Sauce.”
The UFC’s April 10 date does not have an official location, venue, or broadcast plans announced, although the card is expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The following bouts have been reported for the event to date:
