KSW 59 goes down later this month, and the Polish promotion has beefed up the card.

On Tuesday, KSW officials announced via press release that a number of familiar names had been added to the event. Among them, former UFC athlete Darko Stosic (13-4), who will make his promotional debut against Michal Wlodarek (8-2) in heavyweight action.

Stosic, a 29-years old from Serbia, dropped to light heavyweight for his Ultimate Fighting Championship run. After winning his debut against Jeremy Kimball, however, he would drop three straight — including an infamous 2019 fight against Kennedy Nzechukwu in which Stosic was deducted points in two separate rounds for low blows.

It’s now back to heavyweight for Stosic as he looks to return to the win column opposite Wlodarek. The Polish heavyweight last competed in 2019, picking up a quick KO of Srđan Marović at KSW 52.

Also added to the KSW 59 card, Olympic Bronze medalist Damian Janikowski (5-3) returns against Britain’s Jason Radcliffe (16-7). Janikowski enters off a split decision win over Andreas Gustafsson back in October.

The remaining fights announced for the event Tuesday: undefeated lightweight Mateusz Legierski (7-0) takes on Lukasz Rajewski (10-6), while Lukasz’s brother Sebastian Rajewski (9-6) faces Savo Lazic (10-5). And Krystian Kaszubowski (9-1) has been paired up with Michal Pietrzak (9-4) at welterweigh.

KSW 59 takes place March 20, 2021 in Lodz, Poland. The event will air live on KSW TV. The full card as announced to date is listed below.
