Phil Hawes has a 100% win finishing rate in his professional MMA career. Phil was a two time competttior on the Contender Series, and in his most recent appearance KO’d Khadzhimurat Bestaev (who had a 6″ height advantage on Hawes) in just 78 seconds to earn a UFC contract.
The vast majority of Phil’s stoppages come by way of punches and it is very often in the first round, with a couple in the second. Hawes is a fighter that likes to get the job done in a hurry and his debut in the UFC reflected just that, with an 18 second KO of Jacob Malkoun.
