Rodolfo Vieira is the definition of a submission grappling specialist. Vieira was the IBJJF World Champion in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Rodolfo also won the prestigious ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championships in 2015.

‘The Black Belt Hunter’ began has professional MMA career in 2017 and not only is he undefeated, but boasts a perfect 7-0 record against pretty good competition. The combined record of the opponents that he has faced thus far in his pro MMA career is 40-9. He boasts a perfect 100% finishing rate and in his UFC debut took out then 11-1 fighter, Oskar Piechota in the second round with an arm triangle choke.

Rodolfo Vieira’s last fight in March of last year was against Saparbeg Safarov, and though he got caught with a couple of good shots early, he was able to secure a takedown. Vieira again finished his opponent, this time in the first round, with a arm triangle choke. The submission is his favorite in MMA as he has three on his record, and 2 finishes via rear naked choke on his record. Though somewhat raw with his striking, a powerful shot that often leads to a takedown is what fans should be on the lookout for, as well as good distance control while on the feet to keep out of danger. If Rodolfo is able to accomplish that, just sit back and watch which submission he’ll be able to pull off this time.
