Julian Marquez has been out of action in the UFC since July of 2018. Marquez boast an impressive 100% win finishing rate and is an alumni of the 2017 season of the Contender Series. Marquez received a contract after a spectacular head kick finish of Phil Hawes, who has since also made it to the UFC.
Marquez’s first fight in the UFC was against Darren Stewart in December of 2017. It was a crazy fight. Julian put on a fantastic showing and got the finish against Stewart, showing his versatility with just his second finish by submission via a beautiful front choke.
Though Marquez lost his last fight by split decision to Alessio Di Chirico he always bring violence to the table and his striking especially the power in his hands, is very fun to watch.
