Ricky Simon (17-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC)
Bantamweight (135lbs): 5-2 (UFC)
Featherweight (145lbs): Making UFC Debut in weight class at UFC 258
Ricky Simon stands at 5’6″ and has a 70″ reach. Simon is now 28 years old which is right around the age where most people can expect for their metabolism to slow down, meaning potentially picking up a little extra weight. With that being said, Simon has had a pretty good start in the UFC within its bantamweight division and has never missed weight. Simon has actually only used the full allotted grace pound for his most recent fight.
Simon fought at featherweight outside of the UFC back in 2017 when he was a part of the King of the Cage organization. A former LFA bantamweight champion, Ricky has defeated some big names in the UFC (Merab Dvalishvili and Ray Borg) before stumbling a little but only to the highest level of competition (Urijah Faber and Rob Font). In what should be an interesting fight for the fans, his UFC debut at 145lbs comes against the always game Brian Kelleher. Who, coincidentally, is another bantamweight moving up for UFC 258.
