With its first event of 2021, Poland’s KSW put some of its top prospects in the spotlight. With the KSW 58 main event alone featuring undefeated featherweight champ Salahdine Parnasse vs. Daniel Torres, Saturday’s card promised to be a big night for some of the promotion’s young stars.
Long past the days when Mariusz Pudzianowski was needed just to draw eyeballs, KSW’s current roster boasts plenty of legit killers. Several were in action alongside him Saturday. Along with Parnasse, a pair of undefeated welterweights were set to throw down at the event, when Uros Jurisic faced Shamil Musaev. Jurisic, who had previously competed for Bellator MMA, was perhaps the better known of the two. But Musaev was still an imposing 14-0.
In addition, the co-main event featured Olympian Szymon Kolecki, taking on longtime MMA veteran Martin Zawada.
