Amanda Ribas had a standout year in the UFC in 2020 and is undefeated with the promotion. Ribas was an International Mixed Martial Arts Fighting (IMMAF) World Champion in 2014 and a veteran of the Jungle Fight promotion.

Ribas’ extensive background, including a black belt in jiujitsu and judo, sees most of her finishes come by way of submission. Ribas has six first-round finishes to her record and has finished an opponent via kneebar submission.

Ribas’ most notable fight was her October 2019 win against a then undefeated Mackenzie Dern. Ribas was able to walk away with the unanimous decision win over a fellow jiu-jistu ace. In her most recent fight, she utilized a slick hip throw to put her opponent, Paige VanZant, on the ground before finding the armbar for the first-round submission win.

She’ll be looking for another stoppage against Marina Rodriguez to kick off the UFC 257 main card.
