Markus “Maluko” Perez (12-4 MMA, 2-4 UFC)

Middleweight (185lbs): 2-4 (UFC)

Markus Perez has come a long way since competing at 170lbs under the Jungle Fight promotional banner back in 2013, at the very beginning of his pro MMA career.

Perez has primarily competed in the middleweight division for his professional MMA career and the entirety of his UFC career. However, even after moving to 185, he returned to welterweight for a single bout in 2015. Perez is a former Thunder Fight Middleweight Champion and an LFA Middleweight Champion as well as being undefeated before entering the UFC.

Unfortunately, Perez’s UFC career has not been smooth sailing, but he has not missed weight during his stint with the promotion. For UFC Fight Island 8,  Perez is back at middleweight against Dalcha Lungiambula. Now 30 years old, Perez is 6’1″ tall and has a 73.5″ reach.
