10 Featherweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2021

Morgan “The Last Pirate” Charriere

25 | 5’7″ | Poissy, France | 16-7-1 | 12 Finishes | 8 KO/TKOs, 4 Submissions’ (Armbar, Heel Hook, Ankle Lock, RNC) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 80-54-2 | Best Win – Dean Trueman (10-5)

Charriere doesn’t have the most appealing record but a lot of those losses are to good fighters. In fact, Charriere is only 25-years-old and just reaching his prime. Charriere may already have seven losses but when he’s compared to the majority of prospects his progression has been super impressive. He has a huge following behind him as well and can one day help lead the UFC to France.

On the feet, Charriere fights with a controlled chaos style throwing a lot of wide strikes but his speed and accuracy make up for it. He also has thudding leg kicks and will go up top ending combinations with kicks as well. What he does extremely well is move his head. He’s always swaying back and forth with top-notch head movement. Charriere has decent wrestling and four wins by submission. He’s well rounded, exciting, and still young.
