At Bellator 252, Logan Storley looks to remain undefeated against a fellow unbeaten prospect.

Battle of the unbeatens. “Someone’s 0 has to go.” Whatever cheesy phrase you want to refer to this mega fight as is completely acceptable. Logan Storley battles Yaroslav Amosov at Bellator 252, one of the most exciting fighters on Bellator’s stacked roster. Storley is ready to return to the cage after nearly exactly a year off since his last victory. Returning in a main card battle against a fellow talent like Amosov is extra fuel to his fire.

“I’m going out there to compete at a high level,” Storley told Cageside Press. “I’ve been competing my whole life, time to go out there and show the world that I’m next in line for a title shot.”

Storley, a former collegiate stud wrestler, has turned to mixed martial arts and impressed in every facet of the sport. Standing at 11-0, 5-0 in Bellator, Storley has shown his championship abilities. Training at Sanford MMA, home to Gilbert Burns, Robbie Lawler and up until recently, welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

“I know where I’m at because I train with the greatest guys in the world,” Storley stated. “That I can compete and be right there with these guys, that shows me a lot about myself, boosts the confidence to learn from those guys.”

Storley knows he has his hands full coming into Bellator 252. Amosov most recently made short work of Mark Lemminger at Bellator 244 with a first round stoppage (a doctor’s stoppage in actual fact). Entering what is essentially a top contender battle to see who is next in the pecking order, Storley has respect for his opponent. But he knows this road takes him one large step closer to a title.

“He’s tough, a tough competitor,” Storley explained. “He’s a sambo champion, he’s very well rounded, I mean he is super tough. This is how we find out who is better,” Storley continued. “For me this is another guy, this guy is one of the top guys in the world, but just another guy.”

As for a prediction for fight night, Storley sees pace and situations as the key to this monster fight.

“We have trained alot for this, setting the pace high, my wrestling and winning those little positions will be key to this victory.”
