Jack “Hammer” Marshman (23-9 MMA, 3-4 UFC)
Middleweight (185lbs): 3-4 (UFC), Missed weight 1 time, Pulled from a fight due to weight cutting concerns 1 time
Jack Marshman has had quite a few issues with weight cutting during his UFC career. It is important to note, however, that Marshman currently serves as a paratrooper and his military service could potentially play a hand in him struggling on the scale at times. Marshman entered the UFC at the end of 2016 and after a few fights, had to have a bout canceled with Brad Scott in early 2018 thanks to weight cutting concerns. Just a couple of days out from the fight Marshman was deemed unfit to continue the weight cut and was pulled from the card.
Jack missed weight for his March 2019 bout against John Phillips coming in at 188lbs, but was ultimately able to gut out a split decision. Jack will look to safely make weight in the middleweight division and secure a much-needed win at UFC Vegas 12.
