Bellator returned to action Saturday — and returned to Milan, Italy, the first time it has ventured outside of the Fight Sphere at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut since it return in July.
Bellator Euro Series 8, the first of two straight cards in the Italian city, was topped by rising prospect Fabian Edwards going up against Costello Van Steenis. Brother of UFC standout Leon Edwards, Fabian was getting his toughest test to date. Also on the card, names like Mike Shipman, and Ireland’s Will Fleury.
Earlier on the Bellator Euro Series 8 card, preliminary action brought names like Ion Pascu, and Ultimate Fighter alum Richie Smullen with it. Not to mention Alfie Davis, a Cage Warriors and KSW vet who won all three of his Bellator bouts in 2019.
