The UFC Vegas 11 co-main event had many fans excited as soon as it was announced. That, thanks to the high octane excitement that Niko Price and Donald Cerrone bring to the Octagon.

Both men entered the night coming off of a loss, and it felt as if they accepted the bout against because they each knew that an exciting fight could rise their stock within the division. As a fighter, you never want to have back-to-back losses as it diminishes (in the eyes of critics) everything you have built. Niko Price and Cowboy Cerrone knew exactly what was on the line as they looked to advance within the division and put their most recent losses behind them.

Well, neither man walked away with a loss on Saturday.

A very intense first round had Niko Price connecting early and often, but the crafty veteran Cowboy was not going out early and connected with shots of his own. Despite Price’s strong start, the first round was likely an even score since a point was deducted after his two unintentional eye pokes on Cerrone.

After the first two rounds, the question was, who had an edge going into the third. Even that was a fairly tight affair, leaving many wondering right to the final bell. The end result, a well-earned majority draw for what was a close fight between Cerrone and Niko.

Here is how the pros reacted to the co-main event at UFC Vegas 11.
