Diego Sanchez claims Nick Diaz sent him hate emails, Diaz denies it

On last week’s episode of the Real Quick with Mike Swick Podcast, UFC legend Diego Sanchez claimed fellow legend Nick Diaz used to send him hate emails about his parents, because of Sanchez’s success on The Ultimate Fighter. Huh.

“Me and Nick Diaz hated each other,” Sanchez said. “Nick Diaz used to send me e-mails. He found my e-mail, he talked to one of the MMA journalists at the time, there wasn’t many. Gave him my e-mail and he would e-mail me hate mails. Bad sh*t. Talking sh*t about my mom, talking sh*t about my dad, just trying to get under my skin with everything he had. He hated me. He hated Ultimate Fighters because we got all that attention. He was in the spotlight at that time, he hated us and he hated me.” – Diego Sanchez, via MMA Fighting

Diaz has since denied the allegations.

Whether or not any of this is true doesn’t really matter. Both guys are weird, and have unique ways of thinking and communicating. Diego’s story is believable, but nobody would be surprised if it didn’t actually transpire.

What matters is getting these two in a daytime television courtroom to settle the dispute, and letting magic happen. The duo have already fought in the Octagon, with Sanchez earning a decision win in November of 2005.

After 15 years we’re ready for a rematch. But this time, they battle in the courtroom. Boom. Ratings bonanza.
