Though Sean O’Malley has technically only had two knockouts in the UFC he has looked impressive and improves every time that we see him compete. O’Malley is the biggest fighter to come off the Contender Series with his viral KO of Alfred Khashakyan on the 2017 season of the show.
O’Malley’s strength is not only his size and length (5’11” with a 72″ reach at 135lbs) but the fluidity and technicality of his striking. O’Malley’s most impressive win to date was undoubtedly his last fight against Eddie Wineland at UFC 250. Wineland, a former WEC champion, was the most experienced opponent “Sugar” had faced to that point, and his first-round KO stemming from a beautiful feint was truly something to behold.
