LFA is staying busy this month, and returning once again this Friday with LFA 86 with a flyweight title fight topping the card.
Legacy Fighting Alliance opted to book four events for their July return, and Friday night’s LFA 86 marked the third of those. Emanating from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the card boasted a flyweight title fight in the main event. That saw Greg Fischer, making his promotional debut, taking on Jimmy Flick.
Unlike Fischer, Flick had history with LFA, dating right back to Legacy FC. He also had a win over UFC alum Johnny Bedford to his name.
In addition to Fischer vs. Flick, Contender Series alum Fabio Cherant also made his return. We caught up with the New England native ahead of the bout. However at weigh-ins Thursday, Cherant missed weight by a whopping 7.6lbs, and will forfeit 20% of his purse as a result.
The event airs Friday night live on UFC Fight Pass, kicking off at 9PM. Check back for results.
