Featherweight (145lbs): 0-0 (UFC), Missed weight and bout proceeded at catchweight, Making his UFC debut on July 15th
Catchweight (149lbs): 1-0 (UFC)
Lightweight (155lbs): 2-3 (UFC)
Jared Gordon made his UFC debut a little over three years ago, in July of 2017. Gordon missed weight for his debut fight against Michel Quinones weighing in at 149lbs. However, the bout proceeded and Jared was able to finish Quinones in the second round and secure his first UFC win. Since that bout though, Jared has not fought in the featherweight division again. Instead, he got rid of the weight cut and moved up to fight five times in the UFC’s shark-infested waters at lightweight and accumulated a 2-3 record. Jared is 5’9″ with a 68″ reach which isn’t small, but the lightweight division is so deep in the UFC.
Gordon is now looking to make his real debut in the featherweight division on July 15th, and not only make weight but capture a victory.
