It was quite a controversial decision in the UFC 251 co-main event between Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway, and the UFC pros let everyone know it.

Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway co-main evented the UFC 251 pay-per-view (PPV) from Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. It was a rematch from the pair’s initial meeting last year, where Volkanovski took home a decision win over Holloway to win the 145-pound title.

This time around, things were very competitive, with both men landing hard shots and implementing their will at different times. Holloway seemingly won the first two rounds, even scoring a few knockdowns. However, Volkanovski turned up the volume late in the fight, and found his range, matching the Hawaiian on the feet. When it was all said and done, the champion was awarded the split decision win.

However, Volkanovski and Holloway’s peers didn’t seem to agree with the judges’ decision. Taking to Twitter, many UFC stars spoke out against the decision, suggesting “Blessed” should have had his hand raised when the dust settled on their featherweight title co-main event. Check out what they had to say here below.
