The main event of UFC 250 features Amanda Nunes (who will be a mother in a few months) defending her featherweight belt against Felicia Spencer. With a victory tonight, Nunes will become the first fighter to defend two titles while simultaneously holding them. Three men have had the chance to do so before her and came up short each time. Spencer is looking to shock the world and improve to 3-1 in the UFC. She has stoppages in both of her Octagon victories thus far. All but two writers picked Nunes.

The co-main event is a high-level bantamweight scrap between Raphael Assuncao and former champion Cody Garbrandt. Prior to his current two-fight skid, Assuncao had won 11 of 12 fights but never received a title shot. Garbrandt is winless in three fights after putting on one of the best performances ever to win the title against Dominick Cruz back in 2016. Garbrandt was picked by nine of 13 writers.

Perhaps the best fight on the card comes before the co-main event as Aljamain Sterling and Cory Sandhagen will duke it out for a title shot at bantamweight. Sterling has looked phenomenal since a loss to Marlon Moraes is 2017, winning four straight fights with some of the finest performances of his career. Sandhagen is undefeated at 5-0 in the UFC and certainly has the look of a future champion in the division. Sterling was picked by eight of 13 fighters.

A solid welterweight scrap between Anthony Rocco Martin and Neil Magny takes place on the main card. Martin has won five of six fights since moving up to the welterweight division. Magny recently bounced back from a loss with an impressive decision victory over LI Jingliang earlier this year. Martin is slightly favored by seven writers to six.

Opening up the UFC 250 main card is highly touted prospect Sean O’Malley taking on mustached veteran Eddie Wineland. O’Malley (who is sporting rainbow hair tonight) recently returned from injury with a head kick knockout in his third UFC appearance. Wineland has been around the block, fighting in the Octagon since 2011 and having a noteworthy career in the WEC prior to that. Despite Wineland looking flawless last time out, O’Malley was unanimously picked.
