Lightweight (155lbs): 7-7 (UFC), Former UFC Lightweight Champion

Welterweight (170lbs): 1-1 (UFC),

Anthony Pettis’ last bout in January of 2020 was at lightweight against Carlos Diego Ferreria who was able to secure a second-round submission finish. Pettis has been switching between the welterweight and lightweight divisions every fight for the past few fights now.

At UFC 249 Anthony Pettis will be returning to welterweight, to rematch a man he has already beaten at lightweight in Donald Cerrone. Pettis only has two fights under his belt at this weight class in the UFC. But those two fights are against Nate Diaz and Stephen Thompson, two guys who have huge names at 170lbs in the UFC.  At 33 years old, and with a lot of fight mileage, Anthony is looking to establish his true arrival at 170lbs. by establishing a winning record at the weight class.
