After a viral knockout last May, Raymond Daniels returns to the cage at Bellator 238 later this month.

Raymond Daniels doesn’t have the most storied mixed martial arts record, but the kickboxing champ did have what many consider to be one of the best knockouts in all of 2019. Now, he’s set to return to the Bellator cage later this month, as he takes on Jason King at Bellator 238.

Bellator officials announced the fight via social media on Monday. The fight is expected to be contested at welterweight.

Daniels (1-1) made his MMA debut in 2008 under the Strikeforce banner, but has been much better known as a kickboxer. In that sport, Daniels compiled a record of 35 wins with just three losses, becoming a champion in both WCL and Bellator Kickboxing. His fight against Wilker Barros last year at Bellator Birmingham, however, went viral when Daniels landed a 720 degree spin punctuated with a right hand that knocked Barros out cold. It was his first MMA bout in over a decade.

Daniels, a life-long martial artist married to Colbey Northcutt of ONE Championship, will return to the cage against Jason ‘The Asian Persuasion’ King. King (8-5) has fought nearly his entire career under the Valor Fights banner, and will enter the contest off a win against Brian Jackson at Valor Fighting Challenge 66.

Bellator 238 goes down January 25, 2020 at the Forum in Inglewood (Los Angeles), California. Julia Budd vs. Cris Cyborg, with Budd’s featherweight title on the line, headlines the card.
