Justin Gaethje really is the highlight for some Denver youth, after paying off lunch debuts for middle and high school students.

Denver area students and their families have Justin Gaethje to thank for their school lunch debts being paid off. A 9News.com report has revealed that ‘The Highlight’ paid off over $1500 in lunch money owed at two schools in Denver, Colorado.

The West Early College official Facebook page thanked Gaethje earlier this month for his generosity, as the lightweight star paid of debts at both their middle school and high school. “West Early College families received a wonderful holiday gift today. Shout out to Justin “The Highlight” Gaethje who is a champion UFC fighter and friend to our Cowboys. Today he wrote a check for $1,538.00 to pay off all student lunch debt for the semester. We love and appreciate your generous gift! Thank you 🧡🖤!!”

Gaethje trains in Colorado at Elevation Fight Team. A former World Series of Fighting lightweight champ, he’s currently ranked third in the 155lb weight class, per the UFC’s official rankings. That puts him in a tie with Conor McGregor, who has not fought since October 2018, and whose next fight will be at welterweight.

One of the most entertaining fighters in the sport of mixed martial arts, Gaethje is also without a dance partner at the moment. With Khabib Nurmagomedov taking on Tony Ferguson, and McGregor paired up with Cowboy Cerrone, Gaethje’s next trip to the octagon is anyone’s guess.
