Prediction
This is a very good fight that could easily be the fight of the night as I believe both are UFC-caliber. Williams fought last year on the Contender Series and even with a dominant win, he didn’t get the contract. That fight played out on the mat for a big portion, but this fight I see staying mainly on the feet. Williams is the more aggressive fighter so look for him to get in the face of Kuramagomedov early. Kuramagomedov has shown excellent defense all around and his head movement and footwork should work to his favor. Kuramagomedov uses more weapons on the feet with his leg kicks and that could be a factor as well. While I didn’t list any “cons” for Kuramagomedov, there are always flaws and always a fighter that can exploit them. Williams is a good enough fighter to reveal some flaws, but as of now, I see no weakness so the pick is Kuramagomedov.
