UFC Greenville is in the books. Now that we know the winners and losers, let’s take a moment and see what’s next for some of the fighters!

Well, UFC Greenville surpassed everyone’s expectations. With so many Fight of the Night contenders and many rising stars showing up, there’s so much to look forward to after this card. Let’s take a look at what’s next for some of the winners!

Deron Winn Has Arrived

Highly touted AKA prospect, Deron Winn made his UFC debut this card. He is a training partner of Daniel Cormier and former national-level wrestler. After several opponent changes, Winn had to face off with Eric Spicely. Spicely is a beast on the mat and many wondered how Winn’s ground game would fare. He didn’t need it. Deron Winn threw heat all night Spicely’s way. He cruised to a Fight of the Night bonus and make his presence known in his division.

Eric Spicely wasn’t completely outclassed on the night. He managed to hurt Winn with knees several times, showing his experience in the cage. Spicely also took the fight on super short notice as well. He will undoubtedly bounce back.

Next Opponent for Deron Winn: Bevon Lewis, CB Dollaway

Luis Pena Paints a Happy Little Picture with Matt Wiman’s Blood

Luis Pena, also known as Violent Bob Ross, took on Matt Wiman, who was returning from a mysterious five-year layoff. Pena would be taking on the veteran to show he has what it takes against better competition than he’s been facing. Pena dominated all night. With knees and ground-and-pound, Pena had the ref checking Wiman’s cuts multiple times in the fight and cruised to a win.

Matt Wiman might still have some gas in the tank, although not at the level he once was. The UFC threw him in there with talent that was lightyears ahead of him and fed him to the wolves. Anyhow, Wiman has a couple fights left in him before he rides off into the sunset.

Next Opponent for Luis Pena: Jim Miller vs. Clay Guida Winner, Lando Vannata

Bigi Boy Has Quick Night at the Office

Jairzinho Rozenstruik, AKA Bigi Boy, made quick work of Allen Crowder at UFC Greenville. Crowder got major clout for taking the “0” from Greg Hardy’s record. Tonight wasn’t his night as he got dropped with the first jab Bigi Boy threw at him and was knocked out in just nine seconds. Heavyweights beware: Jairzinho Rozenstruik is an absolute monster.

Next Opponent for Jairzinho Rozenstruik: Marcin Tybura vs. Augusto Sakai loser, Tai Tuivasa

Next Opponent for Allen Crowder: Maurice Greene vs. Junior Albini Winner, Chase Sherman

The Korean Zombie Walks Through Renato Moicano

The Korean Zombie didn’t show us much improvement at UFC Greenville. He didn’t need to. In only 58 seconds, Zombie showed us he can still compete with the young guns. He slipped a punch from Moicano and came back with a huge overhand that was right on the button. He will absolutely be fighting in a title eliminator in his next couple fights.

Moicano dropped his second straight fight for the first time in his career. With the fight against Korean Zombie behind him, he needs to rebound quickly to get himself back near a title shot again.
