UFC Greenville is headlined by top-10 featherweights Renato Moicano and Chan Sung Jung, AKA The Korean Zombie. Moicano started his Octagon career at 5-1 with notable victories over Calvin Kattar and Cub Swanson and the lone loss coming to top contender Brian Ortega in a Fight of the Night. He was then matched up with Jose Aldo for his last fight and was beaten soundly. Jung joined the UFC in 2011 and tore his way through the division with fantastic stoppages of Leonard Garcia, Mark Hominick, and Dustin Poirier to earn a title shot against the dominant Aldo. After losing that fight in 2013, The Korean Zombie was out of action for three years to complete mandatory military service. Upon returning in 2017, he has knocked out Dennis Bermudez and fell victim to a buzzer-beating knockout of the year against Yair Rodriguez. Four of 13 writers believe the Zombie will rise again.

The new co-main event is between Bryan Barberena and Randy Brown. Barberena has a knack for exciting fights, and is one of the lead candidates for the best fight of 2019 with his brawl against Vicente Luque in February. Brown has lost two of three and is looking to bounce back from a knockout loss to Niko Price. All but three writers went with “Bam Bam” Barberena.

A high-level flyweight fight between Montana De La Rosa and Andrea “KGB” Lee takes place on the main card. De La Rosa has taken the UFC by storm with a 3-0 record winning each fight by submission. Lee is on a six-fight win streak with the last two coming inside the Octagon, most recently against Ashlee Evans-Smith. Nine of 13 writers went with KGB Lee.

Opening up the UFC Greenville main card will be Kevin Holland and Italy’s Alessio Di Chirico. Holland is a Contender Series veteran who has won his last two fights after debuting against current title challenger Thiago Santos. Di Chirico is 3-2 with the promotion and has also won two consecutive fights. All but two writers picked Kevin Holland.

Due to the late addition of Andre Ewell vs. Anderson dos Santos to the main card, it was not included in this week’s picks.
