Diego Sanchez and Clay Guida are headed to the UFC Hall of Fame, for their classic TUF 9 Finale battle.

A pair of active UFC fighters are heading to the promotion’s Hall of Fame. During Saturday’s UFC 238 broadcast, the promotion announced that Diego Sanchez vs. Clay Guida would be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame Fight Wing. The Fight Wing honors historic fights for the mixed martial arts promotion.

Sanchez vs. Guida took place in June 2009 at The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale. Sanchez won the action-packed bout via split decision. The pairing won Fight of the Year honors that year. Both fighters have had lengthy careers with the UFC, with Sanchez dating all the way back to the original Ultimate Fighter.

The 2019 UFC Hall of Fame induction will take place at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 5. One night later, Sanchez will take part in UFC 239, the crown jewel of the UFC’s summer, and International Fight Week. Guida, meanwhile, just got the better of Hall of Fame member B.J. Penn at UFC 237 last month.

Four fights have previously been inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. Those are Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar I, from the original Ultimate Fighter Finale, Matt Hughes vs. Frank Trigg II, Mark Coleman vs. Pete Williams, and Shogun Rua vs. Dan Henderson.

Also being inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame with the Class of 2019 are former champions Michael Bisping (middleweight) and Rashad Evans (light heavyweight).
