Jose Mariscal
Featherweight | 26 | Chicago, Illinois | 9-3 | Win Streak: 3 | 2 KO/TKO, 3 Submissions
Jose Mariscal has a background in jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, wrestling, judo, boxing, Muay Thai, and boxing. He’s had a successful pro career and was undefeated in his amateur career. As a pro, he’s lost to current top contender Gregor Gillespie and UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell in a close decision. “Chepe” has also beat some good prospects in Pat Sabatini and Youssef Zalal in his last bout. He’s well-rounded and would be a fantastic addition to the Contender Series. On May 3 at LFA 65, Jose is fighting Fernando Padilla and he should beat Padilla making his case even stronger.
Taylor Johnson
Middleweight | 28 | San Diego, California | 5-0 | 5 KO/TKO
Johnson made a name for himself in the LFA promotion in his last four fights. He has been a quick finisher in his last four with finishes clocked at 0:08, 0:36, and a 1:36 finish in the first round. Johnson has an extensive background in wrestling being in the sport since he was a kid. He’s a strong, physical fighter, bullying his way inside and executing easy takedowns. It’s the work he’s done with his ground-and-pound that has been super impressive. He’s only five fights in, but he looks like someone to watch for.
Adrian Hadribeaj
Welterweight | 28 | Macomb, Michigan| 9-1 | Win Streak: 4 | 2 KO/TKO, 2 Submissions
Adrian Hadribeaj fights at a Karate stance which helps keep distance and use attacks. He is so fast with his hands and is reminiscent of Sage Northcutt with his stand-up. He can drop you with anything and while his leg kicks are more dangerous, he usually finishes with his hands. Having great takedown defense doesn’t hurt either, and going five rounds five times says a lot. Hadribeaj has a win against current UFC fighter Kyle Nelson.
Kamuela Kirk
Featherweight | 24 | Surprise, Arizona | 9-2 | Win Streak: 3 | 3 KO/TKO, 6 Submissions
Kamuela Kirk is as well-rounded as it gets. He has done judo, boxing, and now MMA and is still only 24 and shows excellence in every aspect. His striking is fast with a lot of power. He has good defense all-around, good wrestling, and a very dangerous submission game. He is a quick finisher, with no wins going past the six-minute mark.
Hunter Azure
Bantamweight | 27 | Poplar, Montana | 5-0 | 3 KO/TKO, 1 Submission
The MMA Lab product had an extensive background in wrestling before transitioning to MMA. He went 8-1 as an amateur and in his third fight as a pro, he won a regional title. Azure’s last two fights have been for LFA. The wrestler has been showing massive strides in his stand-up with powerful kicks and technical striking.
Stephen Regman
Middleweight | 27 | Brick, New Jersey | 9-3 | Win Streak: 4 | 7 KO/TKO, 1 Submission
After a two-fight skid a few years back, Stephen Regman is now on a 4-fight win streak with all finishes. Regman has fought for the likes of ROC, CFFC, and LFA. He’s an exciting action fighter who is super explosive with four first-round finishes.
Virna Jandiroba
Strawweight | 30 | Serrinha, Bahia, Brazil | 14-0 | 11 Submissions
Virna Jandiroba is a high-level jiu-jitsu black belt with 11 submission finishes in 14 wins. Jandiroba has wins over two former UFC fighters in Lisa Ellis and Ericka Almeida. With a good submission base, Jandiroba has very solid wrestling to complement her style. She gets inside in the clinch well, moving towards getting her hands together and dumping her opponents on the mat. She hasn’t had a problem getting the fight to the mat yet, and she’s been nothing short of dominant once the fight hits the ground. She is the current Invicta FC champ and should already be in the UFC.
Cynthia Arceo
Flyweight | 29 | Texas | 5-1 | 3 KO/TKO
Although she hasn’t fought professionally for long she has competed in combat sports for the past 20 years. Arceo has a background in Karate winning a world title. Her whole career has basically been with KOTC so her competition hasn’t been stellar. With that said, she’s still looked good and has a style fans like.
