Lucie Pudilova has revealed that she’s dropping to flyweight to take on Liz Carmouche at UFC Prague this coming February.

As expected, Czech native Lucie Pudilova has been added to the UFC Prague card. On Wednesday, the fighter announced that she would face former bantamweight title challenger Liz Carmouche at the event in March. She’ll be dropping to flyweight for the fight, after spending the bulk of her career in the bantamweight division, going 2-2 in the promotion thus far.

Pudilova (8-3) has picked up wins over Ji Yeon Kim and Sarah Moras to date in her UFC tenure. Those wins have been sandwiched between losses to Lina Lansberg and Irene Aldana. The Aldana fight, which is Pudilova’s most recent trip to the octagon, ended in a close split decision. That turned out to be the Fight of the Night at UFC 228 in September.

Liz Carmouche (12–6), meanwhile, is looking for a new lease on her fighting life at flyweight. After falling to Ronda Rousey in the first ever women’s bout in UFC history, Carmouche struggled to find her footing in the bantamweight division. Since dropping to flyweight a year ago, she’s 1-1, and coming off a win over highly touted former Invicta FC flyweight champ Jennnifer Maia.

Pudilova vs. Carmouche’s addition to UFC Prague (UFC on ESPN+ 3 / UFC Fight Night 145) marks the second bout known for the event. Magomed Ankalaev vs. Darko Stošić at light heavyweight is also expected to appear on the card. The show takes place February 23, 2019 at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic.
