UFC on FOX 31 will see the return of Zak Cummings to middleweight, where he competed on The Ultimate Fighter 17, as he faces Trevor ‘Hot Sauce’ Smith.

Zak Cummings and Trevor Smith are set to face off at the final UFC on FOX card. On Tuesday, the promotion added the middleweight pairing to the official fight card for the event. That brings the total number of fights at the show to thirteen. UFC Milwaukee, a.k.a. UFC on FOX 31, is headlined by a lightweight showdown between top contenders Kevin Lee and Al Iaquinta.

Cummings (21–6), a veteran of The Ultimate Fighter 17, joined the UFC back in 2013 after his stint on the show. Though competing at middleweight on the series (and having previously fought at light heavyweight), Cummings dropped to welterweight, where he amassed a 6-3 record. After losing a split decision in Chile to Michel Prazeres in May, he’ll be heading back up to 185lbs to face Trevor Smith.

Smith (15-8) has traded wins and losses across his last four bouts, and most recently suffered defeat at the hands of Canada’s Elias Theodorou.

UFC Milwaukee (UFC on FOX 31 if you prefer) takes place Saturday, December 15 at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It’s the final FOX card before the UFC moves to ESPN in 2019.
