Sarah Moras vs. Talita Bernardo is the latest addition to the UFC Moncton card later this year on Canada’s east coast.
It’s been a busy week for additions to the UFC Moncton (UFC Fight Night 138) card. With Patrick Cummins vs. Misha Cirkunov, Gian Villante vs. Ed Herman, and Andre Soukhamthath vs. Gavin Tucker all emerging, next up is a women’s bantamweight battle. That will pit Canada’s own Sarah Moras against Brazil’s Talita Bernardo.
Moras had confirmed she’d signed a a new contract just a few days ago. Bernardo, meanwhile, announced the news on Twitter.

Moras (5-3), hailing from British Columbia, Canada, enters the night off a loss Lucie Pudilová at UFC Austin in February. Prior to that, she had defeated Ashlee Evans-Smith via arm-bar at UFC 215 in Edmonton. Those two fights were her first since 2015. The good news is, Moras appears to be hitting the octagon with a little more regularity these days.
Her opponent, Talita Bernardo (5-3), remains winless in the octagon in two appearances. Bernardo has dropped her past two bouts, her only UFC showings to date, to Marion Reneau and Irene Aldana.
UFC Fight Night 138, as UFC Moncton is otherwise known, is headlined by Frankie Edgar vs. The Korean Zombie in a key featherweight tilt. The card takes place October 27 at the Moncton Events Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick.
