“Your Majesty” is going to attempt to reclaim her throne. Possibly the most notorious fighter in the women’s strawweight division, Angela Magana (who goes by “Your Majesty” online and in the cage) will return to action for the first time since 2015 when she takes on Amanda Cooper at UFC 218 later this year. MMA Wreckage was among the first to report the news, which was confirmed by Cooper on her official Instagram account.

Magana also confirmed her return to action on Twitter, saying that “I said id [sic] let the divison [sic] get boring…I’m back”

Magana last fought against Michelle Waterson at the Ultimate Fighter 21 finale in July 2015, where she was submitted in the third round. Having lost four straight and both her UFC appearances to date, Magana (11-8) is desperately in need of a win. However, her notoriety has grown in recent months thanks to a leak of private photos, not to mention a highly publicized feud with Cris Cyborg that led to the newly crowned featherweight champ striking Magana at a UFC athlete retreat.

Amanda Bobby Cooper (2–3), meanwhile, has gone 1-2 in the UFC following her appearance on The Ultimate Figher 23. Her lone win came against Anna Elmose in November of last year. Most recently, she lost to Cynthia Calvillo at UFC 209 in March.

UFC 218 takes place December 2 at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. No main event has been announced for the card thus far.
