There was one very keen viewer of Sunday’s UFC Freedom 250 main event at the White House, and that was lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett.

Paddy “the Baddy” is coming off an interim title fight loss to Justin Gaethje, the man who dethroned formerly undefeated lightweight (and ex-featherweight) champ Ilia Topuria. The English star is now set for a fight against Benoit St-Denis at UFC 329 next month, part of International Fight Week.

He also has history with Topuria. Back in 2022, when the UFC returned to London for the first time since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, Pimblett and Topuria got into a skirmish at the UFC’s host hotel. A bottle of hand sanitizer was thrown, with Pimblett referring to “El Matador” simply as “hand sanitizer boy” for months afterward.

There’s never been any love lost between the two, so Pimblett (23-4) was downright giddy watching Topuria lose to Gaethje on Sunday. In a video posted to his official Youtube channel, Paddy had plenty to say, at one point calling Ilia Topuria “Quitney Houston.”

“We’ve never seen Ilia’s face look like this. He’s getting mashed up, lad. Justin just does this to people’s faces. You saw my face in Jan, my face was mashed up like you’ve never seen,” Pimblett noted sometime during the fight’s second round, as he reacted to the fight while watching it back around 6AM local time from his home.

As the fight was halted after the third to check on Topuria’s vision, Pimblett erupted. “You’re ready to quit Ilia, you little b*tch. And this is what I’d do to you, I’d make you quit!”

Then come the fourth: “you’re quitting Ilia, you little b*tch. You’re quitting, you can see. Never faced any adversity in your life, lad, and now you’re facing it and you’re f*cking quitting like a little b*tch. I went five with him and f*cking kept biting down on my gummy and swinging to the last bell.”

Pimblett did go the distance with Gaethje at UFC 324 back in January, losing a decision. Topuria, however, didn’t make it past round four. Looking defeated on the stool, beat up and bloody, the fight was declared a corner stoppage.

“Oh my god you’re going to quit! Oh my god you quit you little b*tch. Justin Gaethje man, the ultimate spoiler. What did I tell you? I said he was going to win, didn’t I? Oh my god, oh my god you quit like a little b*tch. My face was worse than yours you little p*ssy.”

Pimblett had lots of positive things to say about Gaethje, while stumping for a rematch.

“Justin Gaethje, well-earned lad, undisputed champion, you deserve it after your career. But now I want that rematch. I am going to finish BSD, and I want that rematch with Justin Gaethje for the undisputed title.”

Not so much about Topuria, on the other hand. In fact, Paddy let rip with one final insult that might be considered the finishing blow. “Great night of fights at the White House, but Ilia, you quit on the stool you little b*tch. Quitney Houston, that’s what you are. You little fart box.”
