
The UFC is making Baku, Azerbaijan a regular stop thanks to a new, multi-year partnership with the city.
After debuting in Baku last year with a card headlined by Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr., the promotion will return to the Azerbaijan capital on June 27, 2026. That date will be part of a multi-year agreement signed with the city, TKO Group, parent company of the UFC, has announced in a new press release.
The deal runs through 2028, starting with the June 27 date at the National Gymnastics Arena.
“Baku is one of the best cities in the world to visit, It’s beautiful and home to some of the greatest people you’ll ever meet. I was completely blown away when I visited last year,” UFC CEO and President Dana White said in the press release announcing the agreement. “The hospitality was next level, and the fans were incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about the sport. Fans from all over the world should come experience it!!”
